Michelle’s responsibilities include representing our clients in structuring and negotiating settlements, in mediation and in small claims court.

Michelle oversees and advises on the firm’s day to day activities and implements new policies to ensure our Firm and our clients are in compliance with all of the statutes, rules and regulations by staying up to date with any new court decisions and/or statutory amendments relating to the field of civil recovery and by disseminating this information to the clients. She also handles any type of attorney and opposing party disputes on a priority basis, and educates opposing parties as well as others in the industry of applicable civil recovery statutes.

Michelle joined Palmer Reifler in 2001, where she worked in the Telephone Acquisition Group and with our Data Entry Department. After 2 years, she took a leave of absence to work in the commercial real estate field and to attend law school. She rejoined Palmer Reifler in the summer of 2005.

Michelle received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Psychology from University of Central Florida in 2001 and her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2008. During law school, Michelle was the recipient of the Advanced Legal Research, Writing and Drafting Certificate, the Pro Bono Honor Cord, which recognizes over 200 hours of volunteer service and the Founder’s Award for her significant contributions to the ideals and objectives of Florida Coastal School of Law. Michelle also participated in the 2008 National Animal Advocacy Appellate Moot Court Competition at Harvard Law School.

Michelle is licensed to practice law in Florida.
